Nice day for dogs and horses

I ordered a portable electric fence, Galagher smartfence.  It is easy.  Here is Gjeli in it, she is a good one to experiment with because she is gentle and even if she got out, she would probably just come knock on the door to let me know.

Dogs had fun today too.

And just for fun some 2 week old baby bunnies.  Begian hare/rex X tan.

The run in shed

This is our run in shed, after paying a couple of amish boys to dig it out.  That is how much can accumulate in about 3 years.  I think we will have some good fertilizer this year!
They worked hard to dig it out and they didnt even want to take any money.  Amish neighbors, are good neighbors, at least here.  I made them take the money BTW.  It took them 5 hours.
This shows how deep it was.  This duck is setting on eggs in the corner and they left her alone.  I think it looks like a flamingo nest.

Spring piglets

Meet Frank, Pork, and Beans.  Frank and beans are purebred berkshire piglets, and Pork is a berk cross.  Berkshires are known to be the best quality pork there is, more like beef, and has nice marbling.  They also are very calm and gentle compared to our past pigs!  4-5 months from now they will be some GREAT homeraised pork!
The pig pen isnt done so they are staying in the horse trailer for now.  They will have a 54' by 24' pen with grass and trees to dig up and eat.
